What Are Evidences of Salvation?

Commitment to proclaim the Gospel (Matthew 4:23; Philippians 1:27)

Longing for God’s Word (I Peter 2:1-3)

Loving God (Luke 10:27; Romans 8:7)

Loving selflessly (I John 2-4)

Not having assurance (Matthew 23)

Not intellectual knowledge or faith (Romans 1:21; James 2:19)

Not outward morality (Matthew 19:16-21; 23:27)

Not saved family members (John 1:13)
Not serving in a local church or attending a church (Matthew 7:21-24; 25:1-10)

Not worldly (I Corinthians 2:12; I John 2:15-17)

Praying regularly (Luke 18:1; I Timothy 2:1-4)

Regular obedience (I Peter 1:2, 22; I John 2:3-5)

Repenting from sin (II Corinthians 7:10; I John 1:8-10)

Spiritual growth (John 15:1-6)

Unashamed of the Gospel (Romans 1:16)
