12 Days of Christmas Music – O Come, All Ye Faithful

The song “O Come All Ye Faithful” is an invitation to accept the coming King. As you may know from the story of Christ’s birth, more people made nothing of His birth than those who came to celebrate it. A handful of people saw the baby Jesus and acknowledged Him as Emmanuel.
This lack of reception at His birth has continued throughout the ages as few ever embrace Him as Lord and Savior.

I have always been stirred up with the singing of this song, because it is a Gospel-call.

It is a plea for evangelists; it is plea for repenters.
“O come let us adore Him, Christ the Lord.”
